Cruise the Ten Thousand Islands by pontoon, spot wildlife among the mangroves, and hear local stories from trained guides.

About this tour

Explore the mangrove waterways of the Ten Thousand Islands on an Everglades National Park boat tour. Aboard a comfortable pontoon boat, take in the wild scenery and watch for dolphins, manatees, turtles, and birds moving through this remarkable coastal habitat.

Your 90-minute cruise sets out after check-in at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Visitor Center. Trained guides share stories about the area's nature, culture, and history, and a park ranger may join the tour. The boat has a restroom on board, and the experience is wheelchair accessible. Arrive 30 minutes early to check in and pay the National Park entrance fee, typically $35 per vehicle; snacks and bottled water are not included.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.63 from 185 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Naples
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.9.
