Introduce the family to fishing on a 2-hour Marco Island charter, with gear, licenses, drinks, and patient guidance from Captain Eddy.

About this tour

Set out on a family fishing adventure near Marco Island, where a first catch and a glimpse of dolphins can make the day. Captain Eddy leads this 2-hour outing, helping young anglers learn the basics as they bait hooks, manage lines, and reel in their catch.

The trip heads to calm backwater spots, making it a welcoming introduction to fishing for kids and families. Rods, reels, bait, tackle, fishing licenses, life jackets, ice, and drinks are provided, so you can focus on time together on the water. Fish cleaning is also included. Kids of all ages are welcome, and Captain Eddy’s patient guidance helps newcomers get comfortable with each step.

Meet Captain Eddy at Goodland Boat Park on Palm Point Dr. Arrive 15 minutes before departure, park in the lot, and look for the 25ft Contender Bay Boat at the dock. Book your Marco Island family fishing charter and make room for a new favorite memory.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
