Cruise Bayou Bienvenue on a 105-minute New Orleans bayou boat tour, with wildlife, skyline views, and a restroom on board.

About this tour

Trade a long shuttle ride for a shorter journey into the wetlands on this New Orleans bayou boat tour. In about 105 minutes, cruise Bayou Bienvenue aboard a brand-new boat with a restroom on board and a licensed captain at the helm.

Watch the water and shoreline for alligators, turtles, and snakes, and take in a view of the New Orleans skyline. Along the way, you’ll see the levee featured on Modern Day Marvels. Bring your own beverage or purchase one at the marina concessions before setting out. The tour’s shorter duration leaves more of your day free to explore the city.

Plan your trip carefully: the meeting point is the New Orleans address, not the Chalmette address. Choose this New Orleans bayou boat tour for a convenient way to experience Bayou Bienvenue’s scenery and wildlife from the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.82 from 116 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in New Orleans
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 43% in New Orleans means it ranks in the top 43% of tours in New Orleans by this score.
