Walk Central Park’s iconic paths with a private guide, and choose an option with museum tickets or accommodation transfers.

About this tour

Discover the leafy paths and landmark views of New York’s Central Park on a private walking tour shaped around your schedule. From the Lake and Bethesda Terrace to Bow Bridge and Belvedere Castle, the park’s familiar scenes unfold at walking pace with a licensed guide who speaks your chosen language.

Choose a 2-hour park walk, or select a longer option with private transfers from your accommodation. The 4- and 5.5-hour tours also include timed, skip-the-line admission to the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the 5.5-hour option combines the museum and park with round-trip transfers. The attractions visited depend on the option you book. Museum entry avoids the ticket-office line, though ticket validation and security queues may still occur. For transfer options, allow about 1.5 hours for the round trip, with travel time varying by distance and traffic.

Meet your guide at the General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument and set out to see Central Park’s celebrated landscapes and architecture. Choose the New York Central Park Walking Tour that fits your day and enjoy a more personal way to explore the city.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
