NYC Christmas Lights Walking Tour in Dyker Heights 3 hr

As winter darkness settles over Brooklyn, Dyker Heights transforms into a dazzling display of holiday lights, oversized figures, and animated decorations. Join this NYC Christmas lights walking tour to see the neighborhood’s festive spectacle with a guide leading the way.

Meet in Times Square, then travel by subway with your guide to Dyker Heights. A New York-themed holiday playlist sets the mood along the ride. Once there, walk from house to house and admire the elaborate displays, including well-known homes such as the Polizotto House, the Saita House, and the Lucy Spata House. You’ll also see motorized decorations and learn about the friendly competition that helped make the neighborhood famous. The guided route makes it easier to explore an unfamiliar area and focus on the lights.

The tour lasts three hours and runs rain, snow, or shine. Subway fare is not included, so bring a MetroCard with $5.90 for the round trip. Meet your guide at the electric American flag beside the Army Recruiting Office in Times Square. Come ready for a festive evening and discover why Dyker Heights is a New York holiday favorite.
