Discover New York City with native New Yorker Will VDB, a licensed guide offering a personal, multilingual cultural introduction.

About this tour

Meet New York through the eyes of a native New Yorker on a guided introduction to the city. William Van den Broeck, known as Will VDB, leads this personal experience, sharing his passion for the place he calls home.

Explore New York City with a licensed guide who speaks English, French, Dutch, and Italian. Rather than joining a large tour operator, you’ll experience the city with one guide and hear local perspectives along the way. The tour is designed as an immersive cultural introduction, with an admission fee included.

Your meeting point is at the southwest corner of W 33rd Street and 8th Avenue, directly across from Madison Square Garden, beside the large steps in front of Moynihan Train Hall. Public transportation is available nearby, and service animals are allowed. Meals and gratuities are not included.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
