About this tour

Feel the spray and hear the roar of Niagara Falls on a private day trip from New York City. This long-distance journey brings you to Niagara Falls State Park, where a private guide helps you take in the scale and story of one of nature’s great landmarks.

Admire Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, then visit the Observation Tower for a sweeping view. Choose the 19-hour option for a visit to the park, or select the 19.5-hour option to add a Maid of the Mist cruise, complete with a hooded rain poncho. The cruise operates from late April to early November, and your guide does not join you aboard.

Private transport includes pickup and drop-off at your New York accommodation. A standard car serves groups of 1–3, while groups of 4 or more travel by van. Niagara’s weather can shift quickly, so dress for changing conditions and be ready to get wet. Choose the option that suits your plans and experience Niagara Falls on a private trip from New York City.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
