Cruise north from Chelsea Piers aboard a 1920s-style yacht for Hudson River views, seasonal foliage, light commentary, and a complimentary drink.

About this tour

See autumn color from the water on a New York fall foliage cruise up the Hudson River. Aboard Yacht Kingston, a cozy 1920s-style yacht, watch the shoreline unfold as the boat heads north toward the Palisades Cliffs, a striking natural backdrop along the river.

Settle into the heated, windowed salon or step onto the open bow for fresh air and river views. Light commentary accompanies the cruise, and one complimentary drink is included. The 150-minute outing departs from Pier 62 at Chelsea Piers; arrive 15–30 minutes early to collect your boarding pass. Bring warm layers, a hat, and gloves, as the salon can be drafty.

Fall colors depend on nature and are not guaranteed. If you’re ready to trade city streets for a scenic stretch of river, book your New York fall foliage cruise up the Hudson River and enjoy the changing season from the water.

This tour scores 4.83 on Viator and 4.66 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 42% in New York City means it ranks in the top 42% of tours in New York City by this score.
