Leave Manhattan behind for Cold Spring, Hudson River views, Boscobel’s gardens, and historic ruins on a private 7-hour Hudson Valley tour.

About this tour

Trade Manhattan’s bustle for river air, village streets, and wooded historic ruins on a private 7-hour Hudson Valley escape. Your NYC Hudson Valley Private Day Tour begins with pickup at your Manhattan hotel, then heads north along the Hudson River with an English-speaking driver sharing local stories and tips along the way.

Wander Cold Spring’s charming Main Street and browse its antique shops before pausing at Foundry Dock Park for views across the water to Storm King Mountain. At Boscobel House & Gardens, stroll the landscaped grounds and take in sweeping river views; admission is separate. Continue to West Point Foundry Preserve, where wooded paths, a brook, and preserved industrial ruins offer a quieter glimpse into the region’s past. Your driver returns you to Manhattan at the end of the day.

Travel privately in a vehicle suited to your group, with hotel pickup and drop-off, water, and onboard Wi-Fi included. Drivers provide informal commentary but do not enter attractions, leaving you free to explore at your own pace. Choose this NYC Hudson Valley Private Day Tour for an easy countryside break filled with scenery, history, and small-town charm.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: none of its 2 providers shows a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
