See the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Manhattan landmarks on a 50-minute harbor cruise with live English-speaking guides.

About this tour

See New York Harbor’s most famous landmark without setting aside half a day. This 50-minute NYC Statue of Liberty Cruise departs from Pier 78 in Midtown Manhattan and brings you close to Lady Liberty for photos, with sweeping views of the city skyline along the way.

From the water, spot One World Trade Center, Hudson Yards and the Vessel, Little Island, Chelsea Piers, and historic Ellis Island. The modern boat has indoor and outdoor seating, plus open-air viewing areas for taking in the panorama. Live English-speaking guides add context as the sights unfold, and free bus transportation to and from the pier makes getting there easier. Food and drinks are available to purchase onboard.

The NYC Statue of Liberty Cruise is a convenient choice for a packed itinerary or a quick first look at the harbor. The boat does not land on Liberty Island, so bring your camera, arrive on time, and enjoy the views from the water.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.82 from 202 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.0. Top 4% in New York City means it ranks in the top 4% of tours in New York City by this score.
