Ride from Midtown to Liberty Island and Ellis Island, or choose a 60-minute cruise for close-up Statue of Liberty views from the water.

About this tour

See New York Harbor’s most iconic landmarks on a Statue of Liberty visit departing from Midtown Manhattan. Meet in Times Square, then ride a climate-controlled express bus to Battery Park, where a guide will provide your ferry tickets.

Choose the ferry option to visit Liberty Island and admire Lady Liberty, the celebrated gift from France to the United States. Continue to Ellis Island, where more than 12 million immigrants entered America, before taking the ferry back to Battery Park and returning to Midtown. You can add breakfast featuring a pastry and coffee, or choose a 60-minute express cruise for close-up views of the statue from the water without a stop on the island. The cruise option does not include an island visit.

This NYC Statue of Liberty ferry visit pairs convenient Midtown transport with time on two historic islands. Pedestal and Crown access are not included. Choose the experience that fits your schedule and set out to see these harbor landmarks for yourself.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
