Follow Hiʻiaka’s legendary quest in a Broadway-scale Ko Olina show, with cultural activities and optional island buffet dinner.

About this tour

Step into a Hawaiian legend at Ocean’s Edge in Ko Olina, where the story of Hiʻiaka unfolds in a Broadway-scale musical production. Award-winning performers, writers, and musicians bring to life a tale of loyalty, betrayal, and resilience, starring Grammy-nominated artist Amy Hanaialiʻi as Pele.

When Pele falls in love with the Kauaʻi chief Lohiʻau, she sends her younger sister Hiʻiaka on a dangerous quest to bring him back. Follow Hiʻiaka and her companion Wahineʻomaʻo as they face moʻo, evil spirits, and treacherous terrain across the islands. Before the performance, take part in Hawaiian cultural activities. Choose a VIP or Standard dinner package for a kiawe-grilled island buffet by Blue Island, led by Chef Luis Castro, or select the Show Experience without dinner. Package benefits vary, with VIP offering premium seating and a keepsake photo. Optional round-trip hotel transportation from Waikiki is available when selected.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
