Explore an active hive, learn about beekeeping, and taste farm-made honey on this hands-on Oahu North Shore tour.

About this tour

Discover the busy world of honey bees on Oahu’s scenic North Shore. This 1.5-hour Oahu bee farm tour and honey tasting brings you into an apiary surrounded by more than 100 kinds of fruit trees, where bees forage and pollinate throughout the year.

Start with a mini-beekeeping lesson about hive management and bee behavior. Then suit up in a ventilated beekeeper suit and join your guide for a close look inside an active hive. Watch as frames reveal honeycomb, honey, pollen, and brood, and learn how the colony works together. After exploring the apiary and the bees’ favorite foraging areas, sample different varieties of the farm’s honey and discover their distinct flavors.

Available Tuesday through Sunday, this hands-on Oahu bee farm tour offers an engaging way to learn about essential pollinators and see beekeeping up close. Bring your questions and curiosity for a memorable North Shore outing.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Oahu
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 50% in Oahu means it ranks in the top 50% of tours in Oahu by this score.
