Enjoy a lei greeting, Hawaiian buffet, hands-on traditions, and a spectacular Polynesian show at this Oahu luau.

About this tour

A lei greeting sets the tone for an evening of island traditions at the Oahu Luau Dinner Show. Hosted by Chief Sielu, a World Fire Knife Dance Champion, this experience brings Hawaiian and Polynesian culture to life through food, hands-on activities, and a lively stage performance.

Try traditional activities such as headband weaving, spear throwing, and fire-making, or join a hula lesson. Then settle in for a buffet featuring pineapple-glazed chicken and kalua pork, with seating in the Paradise or Royal section depending on your selected option. The show follows Chief’s journey through the Polynesian islands and includes an imu ceremony and an eight-person fire knife dance performance. Choose an option with Waikiki hotel pickup and drop-off for added convenience.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.53 from 30 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Oahu
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.5.
