Explore Oahu’s movie locations, rainforest trails, and tropical gardens at Kualoa Ranch, with a buffet lunch included.

About this tour

Explore the landscapes and stories behind Oahu’s famous film locations on a full day at Kualoa Ranch. This three-part experience pairs movie history with rainforest scenery, tropical gardens, and a buffet lunch.

Ride a vintage bus through Kaʻaʻawa Valley, Hawaii’s cinematic backlot, where more than 200 films and television shows have been made. Spot locations featured in Kong: Skull Island, Jumanji, and Godzilla, visit a World War II bunker, and hear about Hawaiian culture and ranch history. Then venture into the Hakipuʻu rainforest on a 90-minute Jungle Expedition, following trails past streams and steep hills to panoramic views. The Kualoa Grown Tour offers a gentler change of pace, with a trolley ride through fruit and flower gardens and a look at early Hawaiian aquaculture at an 800-year-old fishpond.

A buffet lunch at Kualoa Ranch is included. With three distinct experiences in one visit, this Oahu movie sites, jungle, and garden tour makes it easy to see more of the ranch in a day. Reserve ahead, arrive 45 minutes before check-in, and get ready to explore.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.35 from 169 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Oahu
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.9.
