About this tour
Hear the stories of experienced pilots and aviation crew members on a 60-minute Pearl Harbor Hangar Guided Tour. At the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on Ford Island, Hawaii, a docent brings more than 70 years of Pacific aviation history into focus.
Explore the Lt. Ted Shealy Restoration Shop, housed in a former World War II hangar still marked by bullets from the December 7 attack. Watch footage of the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, then enjoy general admission to the rest of the museum. Along the way, your guide shares the human stories behind pivotal moments in aviation history.
This Pearl Harbor Hangar Guided Tour is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all fitness levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 4 are admitted free. Meet your guide at the Front Desk at Hangar 37 and discover the history preserved inside this remarkable museum.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.85 from 26 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Oahu
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 39% in Oahu means it ranks in the top 39% of tours in Oahu by this score.
