Ride an all-wheel-drive electric motorbike through Joshua Tree National Park with a local guide, safety gear, water, and a snack.
About this tour
Trade the usual park drive for a guided ride through Joshua Tree National Park on an all-wheel-drive electric motorbike. This 150-minute Joshua Tree electric motorbike tour pairs the quiet, open-air feel of a UBCO 2x2 with the insight of a professional local guide.
Ride in a small group and hear about the park’s local knowledge and history as you explore. Your single-person motorbike, helmet, gloves, jacket as needed, water, and snack are provided. You’ll need a regular driver’s license and genuine prior two-wheel riding experience; a motorcycle license is not required. Riders must be at least 21 years old and 5.3 feet tall, and moderate physical fitness is recommended.
Meet at the Hidden Valley Trailhead parking lot, 5.5 miles beyond Joshua Tree’s West Entrance. Park admission is not included unless you already have a pass. Choose this Joshua Tree electric motorbike tour for a more hands-on way to experience the park’s striking desert scenery.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.79 from 19 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Palm Springs
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
