Cruise Old Las Palmas in an open-air golf cart, admire celebrity homes and hear stories from Palm Springs’ Hollywood golden era.
About this tour
Step into Hollywood’s golden era on a Palm Springs Celebrity Homes Golf Cart Tour, where palm-lined streets and distinctive architecture set the scene. In Old Las Palmas, cruise past historic Spanish Colonial and mid-century homes associated with stars including Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Lucille Ball, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin.
A local guide shares stories and anecdotes about the neighborhood’s celebrity past as you ride in a high-back, open-air golf cart. Bottled water, seat-mounted electric fans and a personal facial mist sprayer help keep you comfortable in the desert heat, and a welcome gift adds a thoughtful touch. The 120-minute outing suits fans of classic Hollywood, architecture and local history.
Meet at the corner of Museum Way and S Belardo Road and look for the snappy cart. Settle in, take in the homes and hear the stories behind Palm Springs’ enduring star power on this Palm Springs Celebrity Homes Golf Cart Tour.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.84 from 351 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Palm Springs
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.4. Top 44% in Palm Springs means it ranks in the top 44% of tours in Palm Springs by this score.
