Explore Palm Springs with a remote host, solving creative outdoor missions and capturing the city through photos, videos, and local stories.

About this tour

Turn Palm Springs into your game board with a creative scavenger hunt hosted remotely by Tara, your guide in your pocket. Starting at Palm Springs Art Museum, your team follows outdoor clues and takes on playful missions across the city.

Chat with locals, uncover stories, and capture photos, videos, or audio as you complete each challenge. Your host interacts with your team through WhatsApp, adding guidance and a personal touch while you explore at your own pace. The 135-minute experience is designed for groups; solo travelers are not recommended, and teammates cannot be provided. Museum admission is not needed because the clues are outdoors.

Bring a fully charged smartphone with WhatsApp and connect with your host the day before for directions and pregame details. Gather your crew, get ready to solve, and see Palm Springs through a playful new lens on this Palm Springs scavenger hunt.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 16 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Palm Springs
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.9. Top 33% in Palm Springs means it ranks in the top 33% of tours in Palm Springs by this score.
