Explore 10 Southern California routes, from Hollywood and Palm Springs to Joshua Tree, with GPS-triggered stories at your own pace.

About this tour

Set out on a California road trip with a bundle of 10 self-guided audio tours, from Hollywood’s celebrity homes and Los Angeles filming locations to the desert landscapes of Joshua Tree and Death Valley. This Southern California GPS Audio Tour Bundle pairs route guidance with stories that bring the scenery and local history to life.

Download the Tour Guide app by Action and your tours before you leave Wi-Fi or strong cellular service. GPS-triggered audio plays as you follow the mapped routes, and downloaded tours work offline. Explore in your own car, with one purchase covering everyone in the vehicle. Pause whenever a viewpoint, hike, picnic spot, or photo opportunity catches your eye, then pick up where you left off. The bundle also features Palm Springs architecture, Rodeo Drive, and La Jolla Cove, alongside route maps, scenic stops, and planning tools. Lifetime access lets you revisit the tours on future trips.

There’s no live guide, and attraction admission, parking, food, and car rental are separate. Start at the suggested point or join along a route, and let the Southern California GPS Audio Tour Bundle shape a flexible journey through the region’s varied landscapes and landmarks.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
