Cruise the Gulf from Panama City Beach, watch for dolphins, and snorkel around Shell Island on a private or shared powerboat charter.

About this tour

Set out from Panama City Beach for a two-hour powerboat charter across the Gulf of Mexico, with Shell Island’s clear waters and the chance to spot dolphins along the way. Choose a private or shared outing for up to six guests, then work with your captain to shape the experience. Private charters offer more flexible itineraries, while shared departures require at least four guests.

Your Panama City Beach powerboat charter includes snorkeling equipment, so you can spend time exploring the water around Shell Island. Bring swimwear, snacks, drinks, and a cooler, along with towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. Check in 45 minutes before departure at the kiosk beside building 3 and Reflections Spa at Bluegreen Bayside Resort. Every guest must complete the online waiver and bring ID. If a shared charter does not reach its four-person minimum, you may be asked to reschedule or pay for additional seats.

Gather your group, meet your captain, and discover the Gulf from the water on a Panama City Beach powerboat charter.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.80 from 1,206 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Panama City Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.1. Top 3% in Panama City Beach means it ranks in the top 3% of tours in Panama City Beach by this score.
