Follow a local guide through Paris’s glowing holiday streets, explore festive landmarks, and warm up with hot chocolate or mulled wine.

About this tour

See Paris sparkle after dark on a Christmas lights walk led by a local guide. Over two hours, discover the festive streets and decorations that give the City of Lights its seasonal glow, with stops around Palais Royal and Place Vendôme.

Wander through hidden passageways, step inside beautiful churches, and hear stories about French holiday traditions. Along the way, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or mulled wine. The small-group format, capped at six guests, makes it easy to enjoy the sights and ask your guide for tips on exploring the city afterward. A private option is also available.

This Paris Christmas Lights Walking Tour runs in rain or snow, so dress for the weather and meet your guide in front of the Replay store. Join the walk for a cozy, close-up look at Paris during the holiday season.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.79 from 19 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
