Explore Paris with a local guide in a vintage convertible, passing famous sights and hidden gems while hearing stories of French culture.

About this tour

See Paris from the open roof of an iconic vintage vehicle on a private guided ride through the city. Choose the classic 1976 Volkswagen van or the legendary 1977 2CV French car, both fitted with a roll-back sunroof that makes sightseeing and photo stops especially memorable.

Your local guide leads you past must-see places and hidden gems, sharing historical details and insights into French culture along the way. The 120-minute experience pairs the pleasure of being driven through Paris with the perspective of a fluent English-speaking guide. The vintage design adds a distinctive backdrop for photos and souvenirs, while the open roof lets you take in the city as you travel.

A Paris Classic Van Tour offers an easygoing way to explore with a local and see the city from a fresh angle. Book your ride and make time for a memorable journey through Paris.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 76 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.0. Top 3% in Paris means it ranks in the top 3% of tours in Paris by this score.
