Travel from Paris to Normandy’s D-Day beaches and memorials on a private day trip, with an English-speaking driver and flexible stops.
About this tour
Travel from Paris into the landscapes of Normandy, where beaches, cliffs, and memorials preserve the story of D-Day. This private 12-hour trip pairs a comfortable ride with an English-speaking local driver who shares historical context and local tips along the way. Hotel or custom pickup and drop-off, Wi-Fi, and water make the long journey easier.
Shape the day around your priorities: the distance from Paris means you cannot visit every site in one outing. Possible stops include Sainte-Mère-Église and its Airborne Museum, Utah Beach, and the cratered cliffs of Pointe du Hoc. Pay tribute at Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, then see the remains of the Mulberry Harbor offshore from Arromanches-les-Bains. Your driver can offer background and suggestions, but does not accompany you inside museums or archaeological areas. Some attractions may close for holidays, maintenance, or special events, so check opening hours before you go.
Discover the D-Day sites at your own pace on a Paris D-Day Beaches and Memorials Private Tour. Choose the places that matter most and make the most of a moving day in Normandy.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 49% in Paris means it ranks in the top 49% of tours in Paris by this score.
