Learn to make éclairs, chouquettes, and savory choux in a hands-on Paris pastry class, then taste your creations with coffee or tea.

About this tour

Make classic French pastries from scratch in a hands-on Paris pastry class led by a chef. Over 150 minutes, learn to prepare chocolate and vanilla éclairs, chouquettes, and choux filled with cheese and cream.

Work through each recipe step by step, using the provided utensils as your chef explains the techniques behind the pastries. Once your creations come out of the oven, sit down to taste them with coffee or tea. The class also offers time to chat about your Paris trip and get culinary advice and recommendations.

The workshop is close to Place des Vosges, in a corner storefront with a red facade and LE CAFE CHINOIS lettering. Join this Paris eclair and choux pastry class to enjoy a practical introduction to French baking and take home techniques you can use again.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.67 from 79 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.4.
