Trace Paris’s jazz history through Les Halles and Saint-Germain-des-Prés with a local musician, then choose an optional live performance.
About this tour
Follow the sound of jazz through Paris after dark on a 150-minute walking tour led by a professional Parisian musician. Explore the storied neighborhoods of Les Halles and Saint-Germain-des-Prés while hearing how the city shaped the music and learning about legendary figures such as Django Reinhardt.
Along the way, visit historic jazz clubs, including Le Caveau de la Huchette, and get an insider’s perspective on the Parisian jazz scene. Choose the option with a live performance to end the evening at a jazz concert; a ticket is included with that option, subject to availability. Food and drinks at the clubs are not included, and admission to Caveau de la Huchette is not included with the option without a performance.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 49% in Paris means it ranks in the top 49% of tours in Paris by this score.
