Explore Les Invalides with a private guide, from Napoleon’s tomb beneath the gilded Dome to stories of emperors, wars, knights, and armor.

About this tour

Discover Les Invalides on a private Paris Invalides tour, where military history unfolds beneath a gilded dome. Every tour includes Napoleon’s tomb, set beneath the landmark Dome of Les Invalides.

Choose an express 1-hour visit to explore the Court of Honor, the Dome, and Napoleon’s tomb. For a deeper look, select a 2-hour themed tour: trace the life and legend of Napoleon, follow the story of World War I and II from the trenches to the Liberation of Paris, or explore knights, armor, and kings on a family-friendly experience. A private guide brings the museum’s stories into focus, while included museum tickets make it easy to step inside.

Meet your guide in front of the gates of Les Invalides. Whether you have an hour or want to spend longer with the collections, this Paris Invalides tour offers a personal way to encounter one of the city’s most memorable historic sites. Choose the theme and duration that fit your visit.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
