Explore lesser-known Paris neighborhoods with a local guide, tasting genuine specialties on an ever-changing seven-hour tour.
About this tour
See a more personal side of Paris on a seven-hour neighborhood adventure led by a passionate local guide. Rather than following a fixed list of famous sights, this experience wanders through areas many visitors miss, with stops shaped by the guide and the day. The itinerary changes on every tour, so the neighborhoods and discoveries are never quite the same.
Along the way, sample genuine food specialties at local cafes, shops, and parlors, including treats you may not find on tourist menus. A full-day public transportation pass helps you move around the city, while your guide shares the character and everyday rhythms of their neighborhood. Meet by the grand steps of Opéra Garnier in central Paris before setting out.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 22% in Paris means it ranks in the top 22% of tours in Paris by this score.
