Explore Louvre masterpieces with a licensed guide, then visit the Orsay Museum and admire works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas.

About this tour

Discover Paris through two celebrated art collections, from the Louvre’s grand galleries to the Orsay Museum’s light-filled former railway station. On this 4-hour experience, a licensed guide leads a 2-hour tour of the Louvre’s major masterpieces, sharing stories behind the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Coronation of Napoleon. Then continue your visit at the Orsay Museum, where admission is valid at any time during opening hours. Explore its collection and admire works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas at your own pace. This Paris Louvre and Orsay Museum tour pairs guided insight with time to enjoy another landmark collection independently. Meet at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel 20 minutes before the start, and plan ahead: there is no re-entry after leaving a museum, and elevators are unavailable during the tour. Book this art-filled Paris experience to see two of the city’s most renowned museums in one visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.33 from 9 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
