Explore the Louvre’s iconic masterpieces, including the Mona Lisa, on a guided 2-hour tour with an expert English-speaking guide.

About this tour

See the Louvre’s most famous works with an expert English-speaking guide on this 2-hour Paris Louvre Guided Tour. Instead of navigating the vast museum alone, follow a carefully planned route to the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, alongside highlights from the French and Renaissance collections.

As you explore, hear how the Louvre grew from a royal palace into one of the world’s best-known museums. The small-group format offers a more engaging way to take in the collection, while your guide provides context that brings the artworks and their setting to life. Adult museum admission is included, and hotel pickup and drop-off are provided. Meet your guide by the equestrian statue of Louis XIV near the Louvre Pyramid.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 24% in Paris means it ranks in the top 24% of tours in Paris by this score.
