Turn the Louvre into a family adventure with a private Da Vinci treasure hunt, skip-the-line entry, and a guide who brings masterpieces to life.

About this tour

Make the Louvre feel like an adventure for the whole family on this private Paris Louvre Museum family tour. A kid-friendly licensed guide leads a Da Vinci-themed treasure hunt, turning the museum’s celebrated art into a trail of clues and discoveries.

Over two hours, explore major works including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, Liberty Leading the People, and The Raft of the Medusa. A handmade Da Vinci Cryptex helps bring the hunt to life, while a headphone system makes it easier to hear your guide among the galleries. Children leave with a high-quality treasure gift, and you can continue exploring the Louvre independently after the tour. The museum closes at 6:00 pm.

With skip-the-line entrance tickets and a private guide focused on younger visitors, this Paris Louvre Museum family tour offers a lively way to experience the collection together. Meet at Passage Richelieu, in front of the glass pyramid in the main courtyard. Book your family’s art-filled quest and see where the clues lead.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.78 from 41 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
