About this tour

Step into the Louvre’s grand galleries and encounter some of the world’s most recognizable works of art on a guided visit in Paris. With reserved, timed entry, your guide leads an orientation tour through the former royal palace, now home to an extraordinary collection.

See Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Seated Scribe, and the ornate Apollo Gallery. The route also takes in great French paintings, including Liberty Leading the People, Napoleon III’s apartments, and French sculptures in the Richelieu Wing. A guide brings context to the museum’s history and highlights as you explore. Choose the option with a Musée d’Orsay ticket to continue your art-filled day among works by Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, and Renoir in the former train station; Orsay entry is subject to availability and does not include priority access.

Meet at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel at least 20 minutes before departure, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready to discover the Louvre with a guide. Book your Paris Louvre Museum Guided Tour and make time for the masterpieces that draw visitors from around the world.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.82 from 4,644 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 2.0.
