Explore Louvre highlights with a licensed guide on a two-hour small-group tour capped at six guests, with timed entry included.

About this tour

See the Louvre’s celebrated masterpieces without feeling lost in its vast galleries. On this Paris Louvre Museum Semi-Private Tour, a licensed guide leads a group of no more than six through a curated selection of the museum’s highlights.

Over two hours, explore works including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace. Your guide brings context to the art and the collections, from ancient civilizations and Renaissance masterpieces to French royal treasures. Pre-reserved timed entry is included, though every visitor must pass through security and waits may be long during high season.

With a small group, you can hear the guide clearly and ask questions as you go. Meet at the equestrian statue of King Louis XIV in the main courtyard, in front of the Pyramid. Choose this Paris Louvre Museum Semi-Private Tour for a focused introduction to one of the world’s great museums, then leave with more than a handful of photos and a clearer sense of what you’ve seen.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.90 from 10 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 34% in Paris means it ranks in the top 34% of tours in Paris by this score.
