See the Mona Lisa and other Louvre icons on a private one-hour tour, then keep exploring the museum at your own pace.

About this tour

Make the most of a short visit with a private Paris Louvre highlights tour that brings you face to face with the museum’s best-known masterpieces in just one hour. With a licensed guide leading the way, spend less time finding your bearings and more time taking in the art.

The express route features the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace, with insights from your guide along the way. Facilitated museum entrance and an included Louvre ticket help streamline your visit, though security checks may still involve a wait. Once the guided tour ends, you can stay and explore the museum independently.

Meet your guide beside the horse statue in front of the pyramid and look for the blue Dayin sign. Leave extra time for Paris traffic and arrive before the tour begins, as late arrivals cannot join. Choose this Paris Louvre highlights tour for a focused introduction to iconic works, then continue discovering the galleries at your own pace.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.71 from 17 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
