Explore the Louvre’s greatest works with a licensed guide in a group of six or fewer, then stay in the museum after your 2-hour tour.

About this tour

See the Louvre’s celebrated masterpieces with a guide who knows how to navigate its busy galleries. This 2-hour Paris Louvre Small-Group Tour keeps the experience personal, with no more than six guests and a licensed guide leading the way.

Follow a curated highlights route to the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and other notable works. Facilitated museum access and an included entrance ticket make it easier to focus on the art, while the small group gives you room to engage with your guide. After the tour, you can stay in the museum and continue exploring at your own pace.

Meet beside the horse statue in front of the Louvre Pyramid, where your guide will hold a blue Dayin sign. Arrive 10 minutes early, as late arrivals cannot join once the tour has started. Some galleries may close without notice, and artworks can be removed for restoration or loan. Choose this Paris Louvre Small-Group Tour for a focused introduction to the museum, then linger among its collections after the guided visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.90 from 119 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.0. Top 12% in Paris means it ranks in the top 12% of tours in Paris by this score.
