Solve clues, explore masterpieces, and uncover an art thief on a guided Louvre treasure hunt made for teens and their families.

About this tour

Turn a Louvre visit into a family mystery as you follow clues and uncover the stories behind celebrated works of art. This 150-minute Paris Louvre Teens Tour invites teens and their families to explore the museum through a guided treasure hunt.

Begin at the Louvre’s carousel, where an art expert explains the game. Each challenge leads to another clue and a new stop, bringing you closer to discovering the art thief. Along the way, puzzles encourage your group to look closely at masterpieces, interpret what you see, and learn about art while having fun. Your guide is there to help the team solve each challenge. The experience includes a treasure hunt kit and timed-entry tickets for adults. Meet at the foot of the equestrian statue of Louis XIV in front of the Pyramid.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 20 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.0. Top 12% in Paris means it ranks in the top 12% of tours in Paris by this score.
