About this tour
Discover Montmartre through its artists, hidden lanes, and hilltop views on a Paris Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur walking tour. Rather than rushing between landmarks, explore the neighborhood at a relaxed pace with an expert local guide who shares stories of Van Gogh, Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, and the bohemian characters who shaped its creative legacy.
Follow quiet backstreets and local corners that many visitors miss, and learn how artists lived and worked in this once-village enclave. The walk brings Montmartre’s history into focus through storytelling at major landmarks, with time to take in the atmosphere along the way. Your route ends at Sacré-Cœur, where sweeping views across Paris provide a memorable finale.
The small-group format offers more opportunity to interact with your guide and capture photos. Meet near Starbucks by Blanche Station on Metro Line 2; transportation to the meeting point is not included. How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.46 from 13 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.6.
