Explore Montmartre at your own pace with app-based puzzles, local stories, and the freedom to pause, resume, and choose your route.

About this tour

Discover Montmartre through a self-guided scavenger hunt that turns a neighborhood walk into a playful search for its stories and hidden corners. With the World City Trail app, follow clues, solve puzzles, and explore more than 10 attractions while learning about local history and legends.

Set your own pace and choose the order of stops. Pause for a glass of wine at a hillside bistro, watch artists at work in the square, or take a break and pick up where you left off later. There is no fixed schedule or time limit, and access lasts for one year. Optional AI narration lets you listen to information at each stop, while local recommendations point you toward restaurants and shops. You can also choose where to finish rather than returning to the starting point.

This Paris Montmartre Scavenger Hunt and Walking Tour is self-guided, with no guide waiting at the start. Bring a charged smartphone and mobile data, then open your ticket in the app to begin. Make your own way through Montmartre and see where the clues lead.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
