Walk Montmartre’s cobbled streets with a local guide, visit Sacré-Cœur, and enjoy sweeping views across Paris from the hilltop.
About this tour
Explore Montmartre, Paris’s storied artistic neighborhood, on a guided walk through cobbled lanes and lively squares. Your local guide brings the area’s bohemian past to life, sharing stories of artists including Lautrec, Picasso, and Van Gogh, who lived here.
Pass the Moulin Rouge, the Wall of Love, and the Moulin de la Galette before reaching Place du Tertre, where painters display their work. The walk continues to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, with time to explore its exterior and interior. From Montmartre’s hilltop, take in sweeping views across Paris and spot landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Hôtel des Invalides, and Montparnasse Tower.
This two-hour Paris Montmartre Walking Tour pairs neighborhood history with memorable city views. Meet your guide near Blanche metro station, close to the Moulin Rouge, and look for the green booklet and badge. Food, drinks, and the Moulin Rouge show are not included. How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 132 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.3. Top 2% in Paris means it ranks in the top 2% of tours in Paris by this score.
