Follow Picasso and Van Gogh through Montmartre on a small-group walk past the Moulin Rouge, Sacré-Cœur, and quieter neighborhood lanes.
About this tour
Discover Montmartre through its winding streets, storied landmarks, and artistic past on this small-group walking tour. A Parisian guide leads you through the neighborhood where Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh once lived, sharing historical images and paintings on a tablet to bring the stories into view.
Along the way, see the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur, then leave the busiest routes behind for quieter lanes and lesser-known corners. Montmartre’s history brings art, religion, and politics together, and immersive storytelling makes the walk engaging for both first-time visitors and returning travelers. Groups are limited to 10, creating room for questions and conversation.
This 150-minute Paris Montmartre Walking Tour begins outside the Five Guys at Place Blanche, near the Blanche metro station entrance on Line 2. Come ready for a walk and discover a fresh perspective on one of Paris’s most distinctive neighborhoods.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 9 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 20% in Paris means it ranks in the top 20% of tours in Paris by this score.
