See Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh on a 2-hour Musée d'Orsay tour with an expert English-speaking guide and a group of six or fewer.

About this tour

Step inside a former railway station transformed into one of Paris’s most celebrated art museums. On this 2-hour Paris Musée d'Orsay Impressionist Guided Tour, an expert guide leads a small group of six or fewer through galleries filled with works by Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, and other renowned artists.

Your ticket and entrance fees are included, so you can focus on the paintings and the stories behind them. With a small group, there’s room to take in the details and follow your guide’s insights into the museum’s art and history. The live tour is in English, and the Musée d'Orsay is close to public transportation.

Meet opposite the museum’s main entrance, beside the entrance to the Legion d'Honneur Museum. Look for your guide’s badge on an orange lanyard, and don’t join the museum entrance lines before meeting. Discover the Musée d'Orsay with an expert by your side and experience its Impressionist collection in an intimate group.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.84 from 25 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 40% in Paris means it ranks in the top 40% of tours in Paris by this score.
