Explore Monet’s Water Lilies and Impressionist masterpieces at the Musée de l'Orangerie with flexible entry and an English audio guide.

About this tour

Step into the Musée de l'Orangerie and take in Claude Monet’s Water Lilies at your own pace. This Paris gallery, set beside the Tuileries Garden and Place de la Concorde, brings Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art into an intimate setting.

Enter anytime between 9:30 AM and 5 PM with your ticket, then explore the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions without following a group schedule. An English audio guide, accessed through a separate mobile app, adds context as you move through the galleries. Alongside Monet’s celebrated murals, look for works by artists including Matisse, Picasso, Modigliani, Rousseau, Sisley, and Utrillo. The Musée de l'Orangerie offers a relaxed way to spend time with some of Paris’s most memorable art.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.21 from 174 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 3.4.
