Explore Monet’s Water Lilies and Impressionist masterpieces at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris with entry and an English audio guide.

About this tour

Step into the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris and take in Claude Monet’s sweeping Water Lilies murals at your own pace. A reserved entry ticket lets you explore without joining a large group, leaving time to linger over the works that catch your eye.

Set in the western corner of the Tuileries Garden near Place de la Concorde, the museum brings together Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art. Alongside Monet’s eight Water Lilies panels, explore works by artists including Cézanne, Matisse, Modigliani, Picasso, Renoir, Rousseau, Sisley, Soutine, and Utrillo. Your ticket covers the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, while an English audio guide, downloaded through a separate mobile app, adds context as you wander.

Visit during museum opening hours, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM; the museum is closed on Tuesdays. The Musée de l'Orangerie offers an intimate way to experience Parisian art, so bring your curiosity and make time for the galleries that speak to you.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.20 from 50 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.0.
