See Monet’s Water Lilies and explore the collections at Musée de l’Orangerie with a self-guided visit in the Tuileries Garden.

About this tour

Step into the luminous world of Claude Monet at Musée de l’Orangerie, where his Water Lilies unfold across the museum’s celebrated oval galleries. Set in the Tuileries Garden, this Paris museum offers a memorable encounter with one of Impressionism’s defining works.

With admission to Musée de l’Orangerie, explore the permanent collections at your own pace and discover Impressionist and modern art. Temporary exhibitions are also accessible when available. This is a self-guided visit, so head straight to the entrance and scan your PDF ticket. Allow time for the required security checks, which may cause a short wait. The museum is wheelchair accessible, and infants can ride in a stroller.

Before you go, check your email and WhatsApp for the actual entrance ticket: the booking confirmation voucher is not accepted for admission. Take time to experience Monet’s monumental paintings and the museum’s collections on your own schedule. Make your Paris Musée de l’Orangerie visit a highlight of your time in the city.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.71 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
