Explore Notre Dame’s Gothic interiors and storied history on a guided Paris tour with scheduled entry and an expert English-speaking guide.

About this tour

Step inside one of Paris’s most celebrated landmarks with scheduled group entry that helps you avoid the general admission line. A short security wait may still apply, but your 90-minute visit begins with an expert licensed English-speaking guide. On this Paris Notre Dame Cathedral Guided Tour, take in the West Façade and its three grand portals before exploring the cathedral’s interior. See the stained-glass rose windows, main altar, candlelit side chapels, and soaring vaulted ceilings that helped shape Gothic design across Europe. Along the way, hear how careful restoration brought the landmark back after the 2019 fire. Choose a group of up to 19 guests or a small-group option capped at 10 for a more personal experience. Meet 15 minutes early on the Parvis Notre-Dame, by the equestrian statue of Charlemagne et ses Leudes, and look for staff in red holding a The Tour Guy sign. Discover the history and details of Notre Dame with a guide who brings its architecture to life.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.89 from 28 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 24% in Paris means it ranks in the top 24% of tours in Paris by this score.
