About this tour
Step inside Notre-Dame Cathedral and discover the stories carved into one of Paris’s most celebrated landmarks. On this 90-minute Paris Notre-Dame Cathedral guided tour, a licensed guide leads you around the exterior before taking you inside, where an audio headset helps you catch every detail.
Look up at the architecture and stained-glass windows, hear about the famous gargoyles, and learn how restoration has progressed since the 2019 fire. Your guide also shares stories of the art and historic events connected to the cathedral. The group is limited to 24 travelers, creating room to take in the details and ask questions along the way.
Want to see more of the city from the water? Add an optional one-hour Seine cruise, valid for up to a year after your tour. The roundtrip boat ride begins and ends near the Eiffel Tower. Choose the Paris Notre-Dame Cathedral guided tour for a closer look at the building’s history, architecture, and ongoing restoration.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.86 from 14 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 40% in Paris means it ranks in the top 40% of tours in Paris by this score.
