About this tour
Take in Notre-Dame Cathedral’s remarkable story on a 45-minute Paris Notre-Dame Exterior Guided Tour, ideal when time is short but you want to see the landmark from every side. Meet your licensed local guide at the Statue of Charlemagne and follow the cathedral’s exterior as its 860 years of history come to life.
Admire the Main Facade, the Portal of the Last Judgment, the Gallery of Kings, and the Rose Window. Continue to the south side for views of the flying buttresses, South Rose Window, and rebuilt spire, then finish by the apse on the Seine River side, with its striking Gargoyles Garden. Along the way, hear about the 2019 fire and the restoration that led to Notre-Dame’s 2024 reopening. Your guide also points out hidden details, photo spots, and how to enter the cathedral on your own after the walk.
This Paris Notre-Dame Exterior Guided Tour covers the full exterior; cathedral entry is not included. Join the walk for a vivid, well-paced introduction to one of the city’s defining landmarks.

How this score is calculated
This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.
How the score works
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
