About this tour
Discover Notre-Dame de Paris through its sculpted Gothic façade, soaring interior, and stories shaped by centuries of history. This 120-minute Paris Notre-Dame guided tour begins outside the cathedral, where your English-speaking guide points out the portals, the Gallery of Kings, and the flying buttresses. Hear about figures including Napoleon and Victor Hugo, and learn about the cathedral’s architecture and restoration.
Then step inside to see the vast nave, vaulted ceilings, and stained glass. Guide commentary pauses indoors, where talking is not allowed, and resumes outside. After exploring the cathedral, enjoy a macaron tasting at a nearby Parisian patisserie, with delicate shells and silky fillings to round out the visit. Entry is free and you enter with your guide, though peak-season queues can take up to 45 minutes. Arrive 30 minutes early at the Charlemagne statue in front of Notre-Dame.

How this score is calculated
This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.
How the score works
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
