Explore Notre-Dame’s Gothic exterior and serene interior on a one-hour guided Paris tour, with stories of its history and restoration.

About this tour

See Notre-Dame from its storied Gothic facade to the quiet grandeur of its interior on this one-hour Paris tour. A professional guide leads a walk around the cathedral, pointing out architectural details such as the Western facade and flying buttresses while sharing stories of its history and restoration. Then step inside for a silent visit through the nave, where stained glass and sacred relics offer a closer look at the cathedral’s spiritual and artistic character. This Paris Notre-Dame interior and exterior guided tour brings the landmark’s details into focus without taking up a full day. The cathedral is an active place of worship, so guides cannot comment inside during religious services, and visitors must follow its modest dress code. Groups are limited to five guests, with larger bookings potentially split up. Meet beside Notre-Dame Pharmacy, in front of the small tree, and look for the red-and-white One Journey sign. Join this Paris Notre-Dame tour for a thoughtful introduction to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.48 from 777 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.5.
