Explore the Orsay Museum’s celebrated 19th-century art and Impressionist works with a professional guide in a group of up to six.

About this tour

Step inside one of Paris’s great art museums on a small-group visit designed to bring its celebrated collections to life. With a professional guide and no more than six guests, this 2.5-hour Paris Orsay Museum tour offers a more personal way to explore the gallery’s 19th-century art and Impressionist paintings.

Follow your guide through the museum’s essential works, taking time to appreciate the paintings and sculptures that made the Orsay a landmark of the Paris art scene. The intimate group size makes it easier to stay close to the guide and focus on the stories behind the collection. For a potentially quieter visit, consider the Thursday afternoon option.

Museum admission is included, while temporary exhibitions are not. Meet your guide 10 minutes before departure at the bottom right of the grand stairs in front of the entrance. Choose this Paris Orsay Museum tour for a guided introduction to the collection in a small, welcoming group.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 75 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.9. Top 3% in Paris means it ranks in the top 3% of tours in Paris by this score.
